I watched. These guys, whoever they are, basically define "conscious" as voting Democratic. Opinions differ.

I found their "No" on Prop.20 to be interesting. Since their reason was that it threatens the Democratic Party's lock on the state.

My party, The Green Party, endorsed Prop. 20, as fairer to California voters and a remedy to gerrymandering. Who's more "conscious"?

I am GP because I think that our platform, values, candidates, policies and goals are far more "conscious" than the alternatives.

Number one being honesty. Not claiming you're something that you're not. Which the Dem's do ALL OF THE TIME. The primary lie being the denial, or downplaying, of this fact: The Democratic Party is run by corporate interests (DLC hegemony locked in in 1987) while playing a shell game of claiming to represent the common people.

So, once again, the way in which "conscious" is defined, is relative to the interests and perspective of those doing the defining. I guess that's some kind of start to "consciousness".

Oh dear - they have the WRONG position on Prop 20. It should be NO on 20. It was put on the ballot by a wealthy republican and would divide people by class. Democrats say no as do most other progressive groups.

Are you talking about the Governor's race, or Proposition 20? It sounds the same either way - a wealthy republican put herself on the ballot...and would definitely divide people by class.
