My name is Leah and I am the manager of a restaurant in Sebastopol, we recently started composting our food scraps and I was wondering if anyone wants/needs this rich plant material (also seafood scraps) for their garden or farm. All buckets will be provided, yield is approx 5 gallons 4-5 times per week....
We have been very successful in the past, but one of our "composters' is moving and is not able to pick up. I would also like to use our restaurant as a model and begin a network for other restaurants and farmers. It is symbiotic system, and the benefits go far beyond. If you are interested in getting involved, helping, offering advice, signing up, please contact me. This is a project that is dear to my heart and I know that it is possible in our community. Eventually I would like to replicate this program for other cities. Please feel free to offer feedback. Look forward to hearing from my community!

Hi my name is Erin O'Hara and my roommate and I are looking for some good compost soil for our garden. We would be more than willing to come pick up some of your compost. Please give me a call (707) 703-2826. We are going to be starting a compost soon, but in the mean time we would like some nice soil, until we can get our compost bin constructed and going.

Check at the Marin "dump" ----now called Landfill or something politically correct. they, a couple weeks ago, had a huge supply of FREE compost. What it's made of, organic or not, etc. I'm not sure, but they could tell you. It's the site located east of 101 near the Novato Narrows, near the newish overpass.
