Tea Baggers have won upsets in Republican primaries around the country today (September 14, 2010, https://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/15/us/politics/15elect.html?_r=1&hp). My prediction is that the extremist Republican (Tea Bagger) candidates will LOSE to their moderate, Democratic opponents, lessening the expected Republican backlash in these midterm elections.
