:heart::pawprint: My roommate found a puppy on the interstate onramp this afternoon and brought her home rather than leave her to her fate! The big however is: we're not allowed pets here, so we need to take her to a shelter pronto. Does anyone know of a no-kill pet shelter around here (we're in Sebastopol)? Please call me at once if you know of any places, or just text me the details (707-779-9249) -- She's a black lab, approximately 3.5 - 4 months old, with pretty face, a sweet disposition, and good overall physical condition, but she seems to have been mistreated wherever she came from -- she has some physical injuries that are a little suspect (they look deliberate), and apparently she gnawed her way through a rope to escape wherever she was. She's sweet and smart and very well-behaved for a puppy; I think she's really grateful to have been rescued, and she's very affectionate. She'll make someone a wonderful pet (wish it could be me!)
Thanks for your help!!

Pets Lifeline in the town of Sonoma is wonderful - They absolutely will find a home for any animal they take, and they try to take 'em all. Good for you for rescuing her, and good luck!
