This article from the New Yorker lays out the history of the Koch brothers involvement in funding many of the right-wing Libertarian, Free Market movements and arguments this country has seen in the last few decades.
Anyone paying attention to the debates here last spring and early summer, should know this information. It's a long article. But it's worth it. Follow the money.
In looking for the link again, I saw that they have printed a couple of rebuttals and now the New Yorker has done a puff piece in response to their clout.
