I am sorry to say that "Mad" Miles' ongoing thread "Miles on Movies" has been accidentally deleted by my assistant. :tear: We are not able to restore it. We have reviewed our internal procedure and training to make sure this doesn't happen again.
I hope Miles will accept our deepest apologies, and will continue to grace us all with his eloquent reviews of movies that have special appeal to our community.

I have archives of the digest going back to July 2005. It should be pretty trivial to write a program to go through them and retrieve the posts, no?

Patrick!
You go guy! I would be eternally grateful. Barry sent me the last three digests that I've contributed "M on M's" to. I was waiting a tiny moment to repost.
But what we lost were the discussions about my little commentaries. Clancy, Dixon? I miss you guys. And anything I composed online, and tweaked here, without backing it up.
That error, is on me. I have most of the first two or three years. My few recent efforts? Since I started having to get up at 4:00 a.m.? And thankfully for six months haven't had to. I got complacent and didn't archive them on my CPU and backup.
If you can make it happen? SWEET!
In a private email today I told Barry, we're all just chaff on the river of time... But it's nice to have a record of our float pattern.
If anyone went to the Wake for the current incarnation of The Rialto, I, and I'm sure others, would be interested in a precis of how it went down.
