RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS for a local project to convert two VW Vanagons to battery-electric drive, in collaboration with eCars Now! California and Thunderstruck Motors. Each vehicle will need about $10K in components and a few hundred hours of volunteer labor. The vehicles will be showcased and donated for local use (they make great rolling billboards!).
