Want to help animals? Want to be outside get a great workout and not even pay money? Horse program in Santa Rosa needs volunteers.
Check out <pegasusridingschool.org> on web and see if this feels like a place you would like to dedicate an afternoon or some hours once a month..I have been volunteering there for 5 years and it feels like a vacation every time I go there. They especially need strong bodies who aren't afraid to sweat and get dirty, construction skills a big plus, or a skill set to help achieve non-profit status, and fund raising to support the program with homeless children. Serious inquiries only, volunteers get training, 3 month commitment needed.
