Hello Community,
I live in Sebastopol and I am very interested in upholding a practice in the Tradition of the Thai Forest Monastic Community. I am looking for any like minds in the area who have a background in this tradition. If anyone is currently practicing, or would like to practice, and for any one who would be interested in carpooling to Ukiah for visiting the monastics at Abhayagiri Monastery (Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery (https://www.abhayagiri.org)).
Please be in touch. I would love to talk about group practice that includes taking the precepts, meditation, chanting, listening to or reading a teaching, and discussion.
