See, this is the kind of crap that happens when Americans give in to xenophobic Paranoia, and want to build big fences, and militarize the border states to "seal our borders". We get nutjob AZ sheriffs wandering around with 50-cal machine gun, and scum of the Earth white supremicists "lending a hand".

We need to get off of the "seal the border" hysteria, and get to formulating a sound guest worker/immigration policy.

It seems like anyone that is doing "law enforcement"; that, unless they are deputized they can get themselvs into serous trouble with the law.
U.S. Marshals may have issues with them without them being deputized by proper authority.

We need to pile that wall higher, and put these gun toting, camo sporting, neo-fascist thugs on the other side!

Let them shoot it out with the drug cartel soldiers where they can do some good.

It's high time we quit tolerating these Anti-American (U.S.) foreign elements in our society and push them back across our borders where the alien un-american (u.s.) ideas they profess belong!!

I did for 2007, it's sickening stuff. But it's important to know how dangerous these hate groups are, where they're located, and where they have marginal, but still concentrated, albeit limited, force.

When things get desperate (Note: when, not if) these nutbags will come out of the woodwork and start strutting their stuff for real. And anyone who disagrees with them, will be a target. This is NO Joke!

Just trying to stay out of their way and trying to avoid offending them, will not work! If they ever get a real hold on any territory it will be their way, or the mass grave.

We have many examples of this happening in history. Most recently Bosnia-Herzogovina, Kosovo, Croatia, Ruanda, Darfur, Southern Sudan, Somalia, Eastern Congo. The last five in this list are going on as you read this.

The Year In Hate (https://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2009/spring), is tough reading. It won't leave you feeling refreshed and jubilant, in the least. But it's important information that every adult American (U.S.) needs to know.

You'll find a lot of their rhetoric has been parroted here on waccobb. Especially in vehement posts declaiming against illegal immigration, and the sellout of our country by certain elected officials.

It's not socially acceptable to claim allegiance to white supremacy, at least not in public and in the mainstream, at this time. So code phrases and rhetoric designed to appeal to mass fear and rage, get used, without acknowledging their sources.

And of course, marginal hate groups latch onto popular dissatisfaction, in order to connect themselves to larger numbers of people who wouldn't agree with their actual policies, if those in the larger group knew what they were. Not everyone who hates illegal immigrants is a fascist. But it would be hard to find a fascist American (U.S.) who didn't hate illegal immigrants.

SPLC's quarterly journal, Intelligence Report, of which The Year In Hate is just one annual issue, is worth keeping an eye on as well.

My ballpark estimate of my students in prison, from 2007-2010, who sport ink with swastikas, lightening bolt SS, 13, White Pride and other neo-Nazi, White Supremacist, stone cold hating racist meanings?

Half the white guys. And white guys make up about 25% of inmates. So that's 12.5% of California prisoners. Figure approximately 5,000 inmates in San Quentin, that's 625 of them loyal to hatred of everyone who isn't white. Actually they also hate any white people who disagree with them.

They'll say they don't hate, that they just love and are proud of their own kind, the "white" race. That's bullshit. They hate, especially Latinos, Blacks, Jews and White Liberals/Leftists. They revel in violence and revenge fantasies. They practice carrying them out. They plan and prepare to carry them out. They want us to fear, revile and hate them. That confirms their hero fantasy of saving themselves and their "kind" from the threats of others. They are hate, personified.

And these guys aren't all lifers. Many of them cycle through on short terms for drugs, weapons, DUI's, burglary, assualt, domestic violence, etc.

They live in our towns, cities and rural communities. They're your neighbors, friends and relatives. If you know any of them, talk to them and try to help them figure out why they are so angry and how to find appropriate ways to deal with that anger.

Cause celebrating mass murder and planning to carry some out in the future, isn't one of them!?

When I was a child in Utah, locals disparaged out of state deerhunters from California, because many had "buck fever", i.e. they shot at anything that moved. I'm afraid that armed militia members will have "wetback fever", and shoot at anything or anyone that moves in the desert.
