eSpindle Learning is a Sebastopol nonprofit. We are entering the race for a Chase Community grant.

We heard about this late, so we need some miracles coming from our community... if you have 20 seconds to spare, please vote for us, and
please share the link, Chase Community Giving on Facebook (https://bit.ly/learnthatword) with your friends and networks.

If we win the grant (about a 1,000 more votes, 7 days left!!) it will support our Vocabulary Junction campaign.

What is Vocabulary Junction?
A child from a disadvantaged home enters school knowing less than 30% of the words their middle class peers know.
Over the course of Elementary school, this gap only widens, leaving 40% of all 4th grader struggling with basic literacy and setting them up for failure.

We strive to give free vocabulary coaching via our program,
www.LearnThatWord.org (https://www.LearnThatWord.org), to third graders throughout the US and Canada for the next school year.

An introduction to the problem and our solution, Vocabulary Junction, is available at YouTube - Vocabulary Junction (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzcwRLHCj4E)

Chase Community Giving is giving away grant money based on "votes" - and we only have until July 12th to make it to the top 200!

If you have a minute and/or are part of a network where you could share this message, please consider helping us out. This would literally benefit millions of students who in the current climate often don't get the support they need.

Here's how it works:

1 - Click on this link: Chase Community Giving on Facebook (https://bit.ly/learnthatword.) (You have to be logged into your Facebook account)

2 - Click on the get started link.

3 - On the next screen, approve that Chase can connect with your public Facebook info.

4 - Click on the "like" button (you can "unlike" Chase at any time)

5 - Click "vote for this charity"... Thank you!!

6 - It seems that we will need about 1,000 votes to qualify for the $20,000 grant, and about 10,000 votes to qualify for the top 5 awards...
Voting stops on July 12th... there is about a week left and we're just getting started!

Please share this info with your friends and networks that care for literacy and who feel strongly about closing the Vocabulary Divide that causes so many elementary students to struggle.

Thank you so much to everyone who helps!
