I'll be having visitors soon who would like to do some day trips. Something that involves ocean, good food, maybe hiking in the redwoods, cool little towns, maybe a boat ride - things that might capture a young man's fancy.would like to spend 2 days I'm soliciting suggestions. Thanks!

Take the ferry from Tiburon to Angel Island and hike to the top of Mt. Livermore. Awesome view from the top of the island and good food in the Ayala Cove cafe.

Hi,
We offer very cool self guided river rafting trips on the Russian between H'burg and the Wohler Br. It's a great way to spend the day: paddling, swimming, exploring, picnicking. Our website is www.rradventures.info

Mid week price for a wacco is $35 pp. Tell the gal who handles reservations that Larry made you the offer.

Thanks for keeping it local!
Larry

Point Reyes Station & National Seashore? It's a lovely drive out to, then down, the coast.... great places to eat/shop in PRS, then you can take a hike or drive out to the lighthouse, etc, etc....

One of my favorite day trips is out River road, coffee at the Coffee Bazaar in Guerneville, then out til you take a right for Cazadero. The bakery there is owned by a chef from SF that wanted a quieter way of life. Then go up over the mountain and along the ridge overlooking the ocean. You cannot go into Odyon the Buddhist center but you can drive past the gate. You can drive through Plantation and by the Rhododendron park. There are several choices along the ridge road to go on down to hwy 1. It is a beautiful drive, quiet and scenic. If you have a map, then you can choose how to come back. Up through Cloverdale or down through Bodega Bay.
