Violence is a "norm" in every society, or it would be long gone. Even Quakers and other types build whole social constructs and responses to violence. It is the "celebration" that needs review, as that may be creepy.
And of course just because one guy says what you happen to find agreeable does not make it "true".....oh, wait.....never mind.
