Here's our monthly call for performers & volunteers for the next edition of the Hitchhikers Cabaret Cauldron, Friday, April 28th, 7:30 pm at the Youth Annex of the Sebastopol Community Center, hosted by Conrad Bishop & Elizabeth Fuller.
All varieties of performance are encouraged. This month, the theme —*in recognition of Spring or something like that —*is "Sprouts." You can stretch that theme pretty far as long as you do give it some forethought.
Sign-up slots are limited, no more than 5 minutes each, and we ask you to sign up only if you know for absolute sure that you're coming. Email [email protected] and we'll call to talk with you about what you'd like to do so we can put the show together in the best form. Anchor artists this month are spoken word artist Julfire with bassist Steve Shain.
There'll also be opportunities within the evening for spontaneous participation, for those who open themselves to on-the-spot temptation.
And volunteers: We need at least three people, starting at 5 or 6 pm, to help with set-up, greet people at the door, prepare refreshments, lotta stuff. Free admission to volunteers.
All our past Cauldrons have been gloriously memorable. Help us keep it boilin'.
