Editor's Note: We have received a tremendous amount of support on the matter of the death threat issued against the editors of this publication, CounterPunch, Uruknet, and our contributing writers. Thanks to other publications and forum boards, such as Raw Story and the Democratic Underground, a large number of readers sent e-mails to Blogger.com taking them to task for continuing to host the illegal and threatening incitement to violence by one George M. Weinert V of Chicago, Illinois. At this time, Blogger.com has yet to respond appropriately -- if at all -- to any of the many complaints. I'm giving Blogger.com the benefit of the doubt in suggesting their lack of response is related to the fact the e-mails came over the weekend, and the appropriate personnel have yet to read them. However if by the end of today we hear nothing from Blogger.com, then I'll have no choice but to take the path of a legal suit. By continuing to give space to Weinert's clearly illegal incitement to violence and death, they are choosing to be an accessory to such illegality. In the meantime, Mr. Weinert is being reported to the relevant law enforcement agencies such as the Chicago Police Dept, local police and sheriffs departments, FBI, and Homeland Security. Among other things, Mr. Weinert's incitement to violence clearly falls under the crime of "Solicitation to commit a crime of violence" ( https://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode18/usc_sec_18_00000373----000-.html (https://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode18/usc_sec_18_00000373----000-.html) ), which carries a stiff penalty. I would hope Blogger.com would not want to be an accessory to this crime.
I was not aware at the time I posted my alert about Weinert (https://www.dissidentvoice.org/Apr06/Sharma07.htm) late Friday night that Blogger.com is owned by Google. Google's mail, phone and fax info is:

We would encourage folks to also contact Google to register queries and complaints about Weinert's "American Jihad" blog. With all the e-mails Blogger.com has received, and any complaints to Google directly, these companies cannot deny any knowledge of Weinert's illegal conduct, and refusal to respond accordingly can only be interpreted as Google/Blogger.com condoning or supporting Mr. Weinert's criminal activity.
