How many US Presidents have been impeached?
What exactly is the definition of impeachment?
What entity impeaches?
What happens after a president is impeached?
Few Americans know the answers to all four questions.

>>>How many US Presidents have been impeached?
Andrew Johnson and Clinton, I believe. Nixon was close to it, but resigned first.
>>>What exactly is the definition of impeachment?
It's equivalent to indictment: Being formally charged with a "high crime or misdemeanor" such as lying about a blowjob.
>>>What entity impeaches?
The House of Representatives, yes?
>>>What happens after a president is impeached?
He's tried by the Senate, with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presiding. Neither impeached President was convicted.
>>>Few Americans know the answers to all four questions.
True. I slept thru American Government class in high school, so did the teacher, but I absorbed a bit nevertheless.
Cheers--
