Letter from my friend in Hawaii concerning possible Bio Gas Workshop
in Sebastopol,he is looking for a lead person for this project....
This workshop would need a producer,/director type person
with a grasp of networking,ticketing,and promotion.

He writes....;
I'm contacting ya'll because you have a great chance to do a workshop there in Sebastopol that might both make revenue and if it is a hands-on workshop, also leave a lasting benefit for the property.

before I left the big island I helped run a workshop on Bio-gas. Bio-gas is a local, dependable, storage-friendly, renewable fuel that you can generate from local wastes .

A really interesting and really, really smart guy, David House, who LITERALLY wrote the book on Bio-gas has offered to teach a workshop at Green Valley Village if we can get paying students to come and learn. he can get us (and our neighbors) on the path to energy freedom.

bio-gas is often discounted as 'landfill gas' or 'cow-poop' gas or such. but actually, you can make bio-gas from a variety of stuff, including wood chips, azola fern, farm waste and even dumpster stuff that even the chickens won't eat and lots more. see David House's recent article (it's link below) with a great explanation why bio-gas has so much promise

plus all the nutrients after 'digestion' (or further digestion with worms and bacteria) make a great soil amendment/soil builder.

look folks... We could have free heat, a fair amount of electricity (biogas can be used in modified Propane or Diesel generators) while building soil and improving the forest. plus, the efficiency is even better when you include things like bio-char and bio-diesel into the process.

this is a great opportunity to work with one of the world's top teachers/experts/experimenters with bio-gas, and We hope somebody there is willing to step up and help make it happen.

See the articles down below and call me if you want more info.

On the big island 25+ people paid ~$200. to attend a one day workshop. And everyone agreed it was worth every penny. This is a sound opportunity both fiscally and in terms of knowledge (and facilities) gained:

who will step up?"

This is to measure LOCAL INTEREST in these topics
