Hey Marika,

I sit with Rocks and Clouds Zendo. It is a Zen meditation group in Sebastopol. We meet each Wednesday night for one period of meditation, a talk and some tea (occasionally cookies...). The sit starts around 7:00 pm (come a bit early so you can settle in).

Our address is 618 So. Main St. Sebastopol, CA. 95472. Our zendo is in back of the house next to the big oak tree.

We also have regular day long sits. The next one is coming up at the
end of June, Sun the 27th. I have been sitting with this group for 7
years. My practice has been deepened profoundly over that time.

Please feel free to write with any questions about practice or our
group. You can contact me at [email protected]. Also, feel free to check out our web page at rocksandclouds.org (https://rocksandclouds.org/).

PS. I also sent this letter to your email address.

Look forward to the possibility practicing with you,

Gassho,
Mike

Hi Marika,

I sit with the Transitions Sebastopol meditation group every Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Dhyana Center, which is at 7740 Atkinson Road, just off of Highway 116. Atkinson Road is, I believe, the very first right turn after Andy's Market if you're driving away from town (west?) on 116. Once you turn onto Atkinson, the Dhyana Center will be on your left just a little ways down. You can park across the street, and then just head to the yurt which is sort of in back and to the left of the Dhyana Center house/building. We sit in silence for about half an hour and then someone shares a spiritual poem or something, and maybe we chat quietly and reflectively for a few minutes in the yurt, and then there is an optional potluck dinner inside the Dhyana Center for those who care to stay. Non-denominational, very very sweet, and all are welcome. Usually it's just four to six of us, but sometimes more.

Hi, Marika,

I sit with Stone Creek Zen Center in Graton. The address is 2999 Bowen Street. One block from Graton Road, next door to the labor center.

We sit for two 30 minute periods M, T, W, & F. mornings beginning at 6:35 AM, and afternoons beginning at 5 PM.

Sunday morning the first sitting is at 8 AM, followed by an informal breakfast, and the second at 10 AM, followed by a dharma talk.

Thank you for your interest,

Barton Stone

Hi,

I belong to a Tibetan Buddhist center--GoldRidge Sangha (Takten Puntsok Ling also...) which is on Volkerts. Meditation and Dharma talk every Sunday, from 1 -2:30. Schedule and info here:
Gold Ridge Sangha (https://kagyutaktenpuntsokling.org/schedule.htm)

There's a meditation group up in Occidental, every Friday at 6 or 6:30 pm, at the Anjenay Yoga Studio downtown; it's led by Brian Stricker.

best,

Sean
