My experience and why I'm sharing this with you

While I have been very fortunate to have enjoyed relative good health throughout my life, I noticed that as I got older, my body wasn't functioning like it used to. Little things started popping up, and when I turned 60 in November of 2008 I realized that I wanted to find a way to turn things around -- something that could foundationally, holistically, effectively and joyfully support my health and well-being as I move into my later years; something that could also help other people.

About a year ago at a local workshop with Master Mingtong Gu, I discovered a Chinese healing system called Zhineng Qigong and started a daily practice. I knew immediately that this was what I'd been looking for. Through internet research, I was guided to Yuan Tze, a Chinese Zhineng Qigong master, currently living and teaching in New Zealand. I ordered some of his teaching materials, and they made a huge difference in my practice, inspiring me to go deeper. In November 2009 I travelled to New Zealand to attend a 2-week silent qigong retreat with Yuan Tze. It was deeply inspiring and transformational.

I and four others from the Bay Area who attended the retreat are so enthusiastic about the changes in our health and lives that we have volunteered to organize this visit.

About Yuan Tze

Yuan Tze is the founder of Ren Xue and a lifelong qigong practitioner.
He was trained in Zhineng Qigong by Dr. Pang at the Huaxia Centre Medicineless Hospital, where he also taught. His diverse background includes rigorous and intensive training with high-level masters in traditional Qigong, Daoism, Buddhism, Martial Arts, Tai Chi and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

He and his translator, Melissa Kung, are coming to the San Francisco Bay Area for the first time this July to offer a Group Healing/ Introductory Evening and a Weekend Workshop.

About Zhineng Qigong

Though the roots of qigong can be traced as far back as 7,000 years, Zhineng Qigong is a relatively new and revolutionary form of medical qigong, introduced by Dr. Pang Ming in China in the early 80s. Trained from early childhood by 19 martial arts/qigong grandmasters, and an accomplished healer educated in Eastern and Western medical modalities, Dr. Pang wanted to create an efficient healing system that people could benefit from quickly. He knew that for people who were very ill, time, simplicity and efficiency were critical factors.

Zhineng Qigong was widely practiced in China and made a huge difference in the lives and health of hundreds of thousands of people until its very successful "Medicineless Hospitals" were closed in 2001 due to political reasons. This resulted in some of their teachers moving to the West. Yuan Tze is one of those teachers.
