Dissertation/Thesis support group

I'm curious if there are any other grad-school types nearby who are traversing the valley of darkness known as The Dissertation or Thesis (or alternatively, the great American novel or memoir), and would like some companionship in writing. I'm looking to have set times to meet at cafes for blocks of time to support each other through this purgatorial rite of passage.

I'm open to meeting anywhere within a 10-mile radius of Sebastopol, including Santa Rosa and Cotati.
