I like everything she said except the logic.
Does she really want me to believe that WE are creating terrorist? just by being there? That if we all came home in an instant, then there would be no more Islamic terrorist?
That if we withdrew from Saudi Arabia all our troops (I like that) and stopped funding Israel (to complex for me) tomorrow, then all those guys would stop their ways?
Really? Does she believe that? Or just wants me to?

No, not just by being there.... By killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.

Just by being there? Gee, that sounds so innocent.
What's not to love about America invading Iraq on false premises and killing a million civilians in the process (according to the Red Cross).
Shesh! Some people are just never happy.

Those folks do not believe we invaded them under false pretenses; they've been told there are substantial reasons we are there. So I guess the lies are all around any 'peace table' that we may find ourselves.
And according to her, since we killed innocent civilians then there is no getting out of the matter; our actions have committed them to war on US, is that it? That seems fallacious, but if true, then the Iraqi Bush doctrine seems to have worked! in that after the announced influx of troops, meeting the citizens of the various towns and learning their issues the fighting ceased in much of the region except were the influence of Iran and their co-religionist enemies have another agenda going on.
Furthermore as for the killing of civilians in Iraq and elsewhere, from what I've been told, the fanatics themselves have killed something of the order of five times that number of their own. If there ever was a world view that disallowed happiness, I think the Mohamedians did an incredibly admirable job of it.

HELLO, if some other country invaded America, destroyed our infrastructure and killed a million of us based on "faulty intel" or outright lies, we'd sure as hell be committed to some payback. Probably for generations to come.
I'm amazed at how empathy-impaired some people are.

I'm sorry; it is my poor writing skills. We are told why we are there; they are told a different narrative as to why we are there. It is the political class that is told the yellow cake story, but the regular folks are told a whole different reason why we are there. And they believe it enough to get busy on our troops all over the planet, including here at home. They are told even more than what OBL told us why he bombed us twice: we are in Saudi Arabia as well as propping the state of Israel. Additionally he mentioned a little thingy about US being infidels, which is pregnant with meaning in that world view.
Oh, and for consideration that the US would hold a grudge for generations, I doubt that. I find US to be a most compassionate, forgiving, and understanding people. If, and when, we are hit by a luckier fundie (luckier than last week) we will still be rationale and kindly. We were hit with a loss of 3,000 and yet we are still good with folks that hit us. Naw, you are dead wrong there.
I probably am one that is empathy impaired as well, but then this is about politics not one's ability to place them self in anther's position. As I am sure that helps a lot, it can cloud judgment in analysis.
