I am a long time Harmony fest attendee, normally volunteering each year to get in, due to the cost going so high. I'm looking at the prices again this year, because I cannot find any info easily (at all) on volunteering for the festival. I tried to ask about a month ago and I was told to wait a few weeks. However the last couple times I did volunteer I was disappointed that I had to volunteer like 6 hours per day that didn't seem worth it for the price. But I feel inclined to go since it's just a 10 min. walk from my home.
Does any one have any clue about volunteering this year? I wanted to maybe buy early bird tickets, but don't know if my tax return will be here in time for that.
Does any one have an independent booth from the festival that needs a worker or two?
When I try to google anything about volunteering for the fair, I come up with several other new harmony festivals that have popped up around the country. And most of the sites that look like they may actually be connected to the Sonoma co fair, now say "forbidden flooded" when I try to go to their website.
The other thing, I pray, is that this year they will not have the same rule of not letting folks in and out of the festival to their cars (or homes in my case) to get or put away clothes, etc. Does anyone know if they've fixed this problem for this year. The last two years we were not given wrist bands, and told it was because they failed to order enough, therefore, no one could leave the festival w/out wasting a lot of time begging and pleading your reasons.
