This is just a "save the date" announcement for a WaccoBB Day on the River on Sunday, May <s>23rd</s> 22nd. We'll be floating down a beautiful stretch of the Russian River, south of Healdsburg rugged inflatable canoes. We'll have some partner-yoga to warm up, a relaxed lunch stop along with a intro to contact dance and/or some other activities, and an after party! We'll be led by the incomparable RiverGuidess ( The River Guidess Index Page (https://www.riverguidess.com/)).

Now I'm confused. I've gotten e-mails saying it's Saturday the 22nd, but I didn't see a date-change. Please get me up to date...

The current weather prediction for Saturday is showers. Is that going to keep anyone away?

The original announced date of the 23rd was changed to 22nd as to not conflict with the Transition Sebastopol picnic. Even though that picnic got canceled, we have stayed with the new date of this Saturday, the 22nd.

Current forecast is "Cloudy with a few showers. High 66F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%.".

Gail and I are going to decide tonight or first thing in morning to go forward or reschedule. I will post an update with the decision and any further information.

Canceled the River Trip for this Saturday.

We are working on finding another date that works.
I'll let you know when that comes together.

Wah! I'm sorry you guys had to cancel! Come to the parade in down town Sebastopol starting at 3PM lead by the Hub-bub club and Carnaval Spirit; parade leads to Sebastopol Community Center where there is A World of Music festival that goes till 10PM.
