Someone recently posted that they had accidentally handled some fertile dove eggs, and were inquiring if anyone had an incubator set up that could help out to save them. A friend just did bird rescue training today. She suggested taking eggs to the Bird Rescue Center in such situations since the babies would also need a specialized diet if they hatched. 'Good thinking!

If someone handled fertile dove eggs and then left them alone the dove will hatch the eggs out.
Those old wives tales about touching something will cause it's parents to abandon it are not real.
Up until 2003 when my partner died we did bird rescue in spaded here at the cabin. Years of personal experience tells me what i am passing on to you.
