Have you considered going to the many animal shelters around the county? There are so many animals who would love to be in a loving new home! And you might even find exactly what you want.

Three years ago, I got a bee in my bonnet that I wanted a California Ragdoll kitten, but I prefer not to purchase cats when there are so many who need good homes. (Besides, it was out of the question, financially speaking.) Still, I spent weeks looking at photos online and dreaming. After doing the research, I even knew the coloring that I wanted--white boots, blue eyes, and stripy grey points (Lynx points).

Finally, I went to the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter to look at the cats in the rooms that Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County uses there. (Welcome to Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County and Thank You for Visiting (https://www.forgottenfelines.com/)) And what should I find but a kitten who looked exactly--and I mean EXACTLY, to every detail--like the kitten I had been dreaming of! He had been part of a litter born to a feral mom, taken from her at four weeks of age and fostered, and he had just arrived at the shelter the day before.

Now, was it that he was calling out to me, and that was why I suddenly was drawn to California Ragdolls? Or did I draw him to me with my desire, and pull him into my universe? Or both? Doesn't matter! He came home with us, and has been a joy ever since. We adopted three more kittens from Forgotten Felines last year, and our oldest cat (16ish) is also a feral rescuee.

The shelters have websites with pictures of dogs and cats. There is a pup, about 6 months old at the Rohnert Park shelter, but not sure if he's still there.
It's great to be able to see the animals online, and if one catches your eye,
give the shelter a call.

The other great thing about adopting is that they're neutered, microchipped, and health checked.

Let us know about your pup when you get him.
