:hello:
I'm desperate for some reasonable help for my senior cat, Harold the Handsome!
Harold has recently begun acting a bit strange, moved out of the house to the garage and hangs out under the water heater - which leaks tiny bits of water that gets his fur all tangled under his belly. So he's full of knots. He needs to have his chest and belly shaved. And he hates being groomed.
Humane Society quoted $50-$80 to flea dip him and, if he fights them, they would put him to sleep (for an extra charge) and then shave him. I am a senior on Social Security and cannot pay these enormous fees, nor can I handle his grooming myself. I will gladly help keep him calm and/or give him a tranquilizer beforehand if someone will help me clean him up for a reasonable fee. His groomer in Hawaii charged $35 to shampoo and blow dry/brush his fur - but that was when he was able to groom himself.
Anybody? Referral? Help, Please!
Eternally grateful,
