Need help! Last Fall I replaced a 6x20 ft area where St Johns wort had been growing many years. I had it dug out pretty well, and we carried off a good amount of dirt. Then we put down 5 inches orchard mulch and planted some drought-resistant plants.
But then this Spring ... the St Johns started reappearing around edge and in the middle! Yikes, now I am hearing it is "invasive" and hard to get rid of!
Has anyone had experience getting it to go away, without using Roundup??
Putting down plastic or ?? More mulch? Digging at roots some more?
Thanks for any help - I know it's helps with depression, but for me it is causing it!
