Hi, Waccovians. Isn't it about time the five Supreme Court justices who voted to give corporations the same rights as individuals are impeached? If we all don't move to do that, we might just as well stop grumbling, and admit that the corporations have taken over our country. What do you think?

Hi Roland!

I didn't think you could impeach a Supreme Court justice, but it turns out it is possible:

WikiAnswers - Can a US Supreme Court justice be impeached and removed from office (https://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_a_US_Supreme_Court_justice_be_impeached_and_removed_from_office)

Unfortunately, stupidity and/or bad judgment is not a crime. :(:

Do you think any of the justices in the majority committed a crime?

Yes, I do. I think they're part of a criminal conspiracy to end free elections and pass political rule in this country to corporate and military interests.

Unfortunately, in this dumbed-down distracted consumer society, the majority of citizens seem to not comprehend the severity of the implications regarding this Supreme Court ruling.

If you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant, and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling, the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.

Who rules the world? Why do we let them?!

Shouldn't we work on Bush/Cheney first? Or all together is fine too,

Hi, Nomad. Although I'd love to see the Bush/Cheney axis get their just desserts, they're really yesterday's papers. We'll be stuck with this Supreme Court into the foreseeable future - its youngest members are the most absurdly biased. It used to be that an American victim of injustice could vow, "I'll take this all the way to the Supreme Court!" Not any more.

Constitution:
Article 1, Section 3, Paragraph (6) tells me to write to my Senator, but Barry hooked up a site that wipes it up.
But then, none read it (Constitution, not Wiki)

I think it's odd that people have been talking about impeaching Bush and/or Cheny for years, that there are entire organizations with large mailing lists that continue to work to put those two behind bars, but most of the people I've talked to think it's totally impossible to even consider impeaching a Supreme Court Justice. Kind of like getting a saint knocked off the Official Saints List. But, hey, they actually bumped St. Christopher off the list, despite those millions of St. Christopher medals.

We are talking about issues that are not well grounded in much of anything really. None will be impeached before any others. It was simply someone asked "how" and there's the answer.
Folks also used to say, while I was a tyke, "Don't make a federal case out of it". Little did I realize it was not a joke statement!
