This is another example of bad behavior (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/general-community/64652-efren-junior-wine-factory.html#also) on the part of the opponents to the Best Family Winery.

Here's what happened:

Larysa posted the meeting announcement on Tuesday, Mar 23, 2010 - 7:49 pm on https://www.waccobb.net/forums/general-community/64989-organic-garden-restaurant-instead-wine-factory.html#post109824

Two minutes later, she also posted the same announcement on https://www.waccobb.net/forums/general-community/64652-efren-junior-wine-factory.html#post109825

I decided to let the fact that she posted the same event twice slide, since one of them was on an active relevant thread.

But then she posted it again less than 2 days later, which is a direct violation of our reposting guidelines:



2) REPOSTING: Rental Posts to the Housing/Offices (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/housing-offices/) category and Services/Referrals Wanted (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/services-referrals-wanted/) posts (when you want to hire somebody) may be reposted weekly. Events may be reposted after 7 days if the event is less than 7 days away. All other posts may be reposted after 14 days. This applies across all categories (You may not repost to a different category any sooner).

Everybody wants the most publicity as possible for whatever they want to inform/sell/whatever. However posting here only works if people read it, and in order to not have the site/digest full of redundant posts we have limited reposting and that needs to be applied to everybody.

So when Larysa reposted the same announcement, I removed it like I do with other over anxious posters and wrote her a private email (below) to let her know.

Rather than responding to me privately with any questions, or even a complaint, she posted publicly to accuse me of censorship, and went even further and posted my private message to her, typos and all (I fixed the typos in the public version), which is also against our guidelines.

You decide who it out of line.

My sense is that this is another tantrum by somebody who is not getting their way and won't accept no for an answer.

Dear Barry,

First of all, I was unaware of the reposting rule: "...which is a direct violation of our reposting guidelines". I apologize for my error.

Second of all, I (Larysa) posted it, not a group. Therefore, please do not lump my error as group bad behavior. I merely felt that it was very important for people in the community to know about this meeting.

Thirdly, some of us are opposed to the "Family Winery" for very valid reasons.
