Believe it or not, every weed killer, insecticide, and germ-killing cleanser sold in America is tested on animals.
Why? Because the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires it.

It’s an outmoded practice. And the Humane Society Legislative Fund is leading the charge to stop it. Thanks to you and more than 25,000 others, the EPA heard loudly and clearly that Americans want the agency to bring its outmoded animal testing requirements into the 21st century.

It’s a great start, but our campaign is just beginning. Will you help ensure that success? (https://action.humanesociety.org/site/R?i=YuM9wdyMWc945tShm18rnw..)

Some 12,000 animals are counting on you. That’s the total number of rodents, rabbits, dogs, and other animals who are subjected to the worst kinds of chemical tests you can imagine for each individual chemical. Oral force-feeding. Inhalation studies. Even the widely condemned "lethal dose 50 percent" test.

And all because the EPA imposes some of the most extensive animal testing requirements in U.S. law.

Please make our campaign to modernize EPA’s testing methods a success. Donate today and join us in putting a stop to animal testing. (https://action.humanesociety.org/site/R?i=x-B4D5tOfchL0h_baAkj4w..)

Thank you for all you do for animals!
