To my friends & friends to be...
Good day,
Hope you are well.
Our country is in dire need of an end to the policies which are morally and financially bankrupting America.
Knowing how much music played a role in ending the Viet Nam war, I am certain the time has never been more critical than now, to influence the lasting change needed, at home and abroad.
Just like our state and nation, I'm unable to meet basic needs, so I'm taking a cue from the stars today (see below). I'm calling on folks I know, and may have helped, to help me jump start the Songs for a Cease Fire project.
This project was inspired after viewing the DVD "US vs John Lennon", and asking the question, What song would John write now to end the violence of war; what words and melody would inspire people to cease fire?
I envisioned a songwriting competion which would encompass many styles, and involve amatures as well as professional songwriters and musicans.
Songs for a Cease Fire has a URL and website host, though is in immediate need of funding for website development and project materials in order to secure sponsorships and donations needed to fully launch the project in time for the UN day of Cease Fire this Sept 21st. (See Welcome to Peace One Day: Peace One Day – 21 September 2009 (https://www.peaceoneday.org) for details)
I am counting on my service to you in the past, will inspire your efforts to help me make this project a success. Unfortunately time is not on my side, nor for those who live in combat zones where peace talks are not being welcomed by our authorities.
I work on this project from my home office; I am facing eviction and the loss of my phone and power. Without these, I cannot continue the project.
In January I signed up for federal assistance for folks like me, underemployed and facing eviction. It was to have been determined after 2 weeks; now it has been 6 weeks and there is still no answer as to when I will even be seen.
Additionally I have been putting off some major health concerns; I was recently gifted the means to see a doctor. I received both good and bad news, with more results to come on Monday, though I have no finances, credit cards or insurance to receive further care.
Using my skills and connections to produce Songs for a Cease Fire will go a long way to save lives, by protecting our servicemen and women, and innocent civilians in harms way; it will also save mine. When I am fulfilling my life's purpose - I am filled with a vitality which keeps me going, in spite of the many challenges in my path.
The starting budget requires $3000 per month, for full time work to complete this project on a national level this year, and launch an international competition next year.
We already have 3 recording studios and several well known musicians committed to the project. Key corporate sponsors are also lined up; this start-up capital is essential to enable the project launch.
Please give me call and let me know how you can be an instrument of hope and lasting, positive change, through your sponsorship, or recruitment of other sponsors for Songs for a Cease Fire.
Lastly, I am donating 10% of my Sol Solutions commission towards the purchase of a Sol Man portable solar generator for Doctors Without Borders to aid in their service to recent disaster victims. Please mention me and this offer should you purchase any of their green energy products for your daily life and emergency preparedness peace of mind.

Remember that gigantic favor you did for a certain person a while back? The one that absolutely saved them from either being fired, abandoned by their partner or evicted from their apartment? They've mentioned that they'd like to repay you several times, but you've never needed anything. Well, guess what? It might be time to give 'em a call. Don't worry about getting a negative reception. They'll be relieved to return the favor.
