We are winning, there is no doubt about it. Justice is beginning to triumph. LGBT American citizens can now get married in Washington DC, the Capitol of the United States of America:

It is just as noteworthy that this is MARRIAGE, not the 2nd class crap of civil unions or domestic partnerships, which is the only thing that many conservatives, Republicans, Independents, reactionaries, and religious fanatics would grudgingly tolerate. And there are still many millions of other Americans who don't even allow for 2nd class status.
We have a long ways to go but there will be marriage in all 50 states. I challenge anyone to say otherwise or to even beg to differ. I take special pleasure in the fact that this extraordinary victory is a firm slap in the face of the Catholic Church (or church of pedophile priests) which so vociferously opposed same-sex marriage in Washington DC.
