PG&E now has a LAST TO INSTALL LIST if you want to delay installation of the Smart Meter at your home as long as possible.

Tell everyone you know to call PG&E's Smart Meter hotline at 866-743-0263 to be put on their LAST TO INSTALL LIST.

PG&E will ask for your name, service address and account number.

Let's bombard PG&E with phone calls to let them know how may people don't want these meters and so they have to hire more phone operators (perhaps they will need to reemploy the unemployed or the soon to be unemployed meter readers!)

please sign Smart Meter petition on this web site asking for a moratorium on Smart Meters in Sonoma County if you haven't already.

An added note: I just talked to a Smart Meter rep and he said that I need to call their installers, Wellington at 1-866-671-1001 and tell them that I don't want them on my property to install any smart meters. Eventually they will report this back to PG & E either before or after they've installed the meters in my area. So please call, everyone, who want an easy way to protest and stop this unfully tested and possible hazardous equipment change.

Susan Upchurch (Efren's asst.) said that when people call the Smart
Meter Hotline 866-743-0263 to request to be "last to install" they
should say that they were instructed to do this by Katy Kerns, our
local PG&E government affairs person. Apparently more than one PG&E phone operator iw claiming they know nothing about the "Last to Install" List.

Getting this thing is mandatory...So, what if we don't want it at all?...
I'm trying to postpone them putting one on my house...I'm not sure why - partly because I've heard about increasing bills, and the 'emf' thingy (not sure about that) But, I'm wondering what's the point?...

They are going to change it whether I want it or not...

What is happening with this issue?...

Thank you...I just called Wellington and told them I didn't want them on my property. "Matt" pulled up my account and told me that they would not come on my property and that they would send the order back to PGE. In the mean time I have put signs on my meters and am thinking about building a fence. Thanks again for everyone's input.
