I am chemically sensitive and moved up to sonoma county last year. I am feeling isolated because due to my chemical sensitivity I cannot go out to public places. I have lots of friends from the East Bay (where I moved from) that I talk to on the phone, but I can go for days without interacting with another person in person. I can go for hikes and hang out with others who are fragrance free.
I am a nature lover, gardener, former high school art teacher, artist, interested in spirituality (shamanism, energy work, ritual...), yoga, reading historical and science fiction, making art, sewing, crocheting, intentional community, sustainability...
I am looking to widen my horizons. Becoming disabled and housebound, though able to do a lot... when there aren't chemicals around... has been impactful at the ripe old age of 36. I'm in the process of grieving the losses and looking to re-engage and explore what makes me passionate and inspired. Very much wanting to stay centered in my own experience and self but also have rich and meaningful friendships.
And by the way, friendships only please. I'm recently single and not wanting to get involved romantically for a while. =)
Peace! I look forward to hearing from you all.
