problem adding signature

Hi folks,

I tried to add a signature to my posts today, but no matter how much I shorten it, it keeps giving me an error:


Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 1 line(s).
This is what I want to use as my signature:


350.org - Please spread the word. If we lower carbon emissions from 390ppm (and climbing) to 350ppm, we can reduce and avoid climate disasters and suffering like Katrina. Obama still needs our support. If you join the effort we can reach the goal of 350ppm more quickly. Please write a letter to your elected representatives to urge climate reform. Please consider writing a letter a week. Your action NOW can do more good than all our wallets later!



I have shortened it all the way to:

350.org - Lower carbon emissions from 390ppm (and climbing) to 350ppm!

But it still gives me the same error.

Any ideas?

Gosh, I can't get your signature to display at all! :hmmm:
I'm sorry but I don't know what the problem is.
Maybe it's Sonic's problem! :wink:

I'll keep this in mind to see what I can come up with.

Last night I tried to create this signature:

But I got this error code:

BB code size value is too big.When I removed the "burning bouncing green guy" (who I love because he makes me laugh, and I can't get the burning fart joke out of my mind!) and just used the one "line" of text, I still get error code #2.

Does it have to be this limited and complicated? I'm lazy and I just want to get around having to type my nom de keyboard and waiting for the full smilie page to load, every time I end a post.

I'm having the same error message. I can't add a signature no matter how small.

AND now I can't even find how to get to the place to add one. Please remind me.

Supporting members can set up a signature here (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/profile.php?do=editsignature). I've had some non-reproducible problems with it. Let me know if you have trouble.

Ok, I've found where to edit my signature (mouse over your handle name at the black bar at the top and select settings)

I'll have to find something 80 characters or less and see if it works now. It didn't a couple weeks ago.

I'd tried uploading a graphic but got this:
"This GIF image has the incorrect file extension."

I used a jpg within the specified pixel and kb size which won't upload here either, hmm....


What is the correct file extension?
