From: [email protected] Ôm Amriteswaryai Namaha,

Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya and his team are on the way to Haiti.
Since we do not have a satsang group located in Haiti to oversee Amma’s work there, we will be partnering with one of the large credible charities
that have branches in Haiti or access to Haiti MA Center representatives have been on the phones and Internet gathering information and making contacts.
We have learned that during a crisis like this, the best way to help is through financial donations. The reason for that is it allows those funds to be used in the local economy and in that way boost the sustainability of the local communities.
You can donate online to the Haiti Relief effort by selecting “Haiti” in the drop-down menu at: https://www.amma.org/donationsapp/donationInit.do
Also in accordance with Amma's plan to provide relief to Haiti, all proceeds from this year's web auction will go to support Embracing The World’s Haiti Relief Package.
The Auction Website will reflect this change soon:Amma.org Online Auction (https://auction.amma.org/)
We are also gathering donations of medical supplies and items for day-to-day living. Please see the attached lists, which are also pasted at the end of this email. Please bring your donations to the mandapam warehouse (the dining hall when Amma is here.)

Please DO NOT BRING CLOTHING. Shipping clothing is not nearly as efficient or even convenient as making a cash donation because clothing is almost universally available. Sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, tarps and tents will be useful

If you have a contact in a medical facility, please see if you can obtain a donation of supplies. It does not matter how large or how small. If you can bring the items to the ashram that would be best, but if the donation is too large for that, we will arrange to pick it up.
Please note: Everything that we ship has to go on a shipping manifest with a price. So, if you buy something to donate, please leave the price tag on it.
That will save the volunteers from having to look up the price.
For questions about in-kind donations please contact Lela Kudritzki: [email protected]
If you need 501©(3) letters for the places that you want to contact or have questions re:
MA Center’s Non-Profit Status / 501( c )(3), etc. Contact: Darsana Little: [email protected]
