Where I Am is a Holy Place

[Want to share a note to a deeply committed spiritual, nutritionist, daily 'battling' to protect his body, and considering a political move out of the U.S.A. to a "better place": ]

"What I'd like to convey is that "fact" -- "reality" -- is perhaps in the deepest sense, a perception-based phenomenon: if so, then seeing the world as an on-going threat to existence, and daily life as a battle to survive onslaughts (a "fear-based" or danger-based perception? --for most ) may be "true" or "not true," depending upon our cosmology, our paradigm. (Those of us intrigued with Abraham Hicks philosophy want to enjoy--rather than feel frustration -- about the "contrasts" we experience/perceive between what is wanted and not wanted.)

As you know, many of "us" --Seekers and Finders, Initiates, Earth Angels, Light-Dark workers, shamans, ascensionists --so many names! -- are in the midst of shifting paradigms: and many of us are experiencing the world 'out there' as a mirror what of what's 'in here': as without, so within. As within, so without. It's more than a "spiritual platitude" --though it might be spoken about in an artificial --"gee-I-hope-it's-true," glib, platitudinal fashion. But in the deepest and highest moments of my own constant, extensive Journeying, I DO find that there is no where to be where Love and Life is not --when I Am --and am Being --Awake. As Death sits on my shoulder and Advises, or as the Alchemist Whispers in my ear, or Coyote lays Traps for my fears and tricks me into blessings in the darkest places --I just find --that where I Am is sufficient. That whatever I need --to Serve -the be the Gift --to be sustained --and sustainable -- is provided

The task becomes not to seek a better place to be --but to Be that better --Living--Place. Wherever I happen to be residing. The Path becomes learning to experience how this State of Being 'protects' from 'dangers' like nothing else can --or will: even more, how this Heart dissolves the experience of any danger at all..... a paradox, in view of our material experience, where so much seems so terribly wrong. so "not God.".

And so, miracle plant food --which is a great help to being Awake and experiencing Well Being -- is great. And, maybe not needed if our powers are sufficient, and our Faith resilient, our vision "immune" to danger." Not a task for the weak at heart!

Thanks for sharing the writing. I hope the formulation of the passage helped bring relief to Ms Singer's friend near the end. But, what she has toi say is really intended for those who already think the same as the writer, isn't it?

Sometimes I envy those who see the universe(s) as being only what they what they believe it is ( "many of us are experiencing the world 'out there' as a mirror what of what's 'in here': as without, so within.), rather than hypothesis which are only assumed to be fact after they are demonstrated to be repeatable, verifiable, measurable, as in the practice of science, and then only until they're disproven.

This next jumped out, since the writer put it in quotes. Ms Singer perhaps intended it to be shared only with already-like-minded believers.

"Perception-based" reality? Is that saying that "Since I perceive it to be a certain way, then then it is reality. Seems kind of wishful at one end of the scale, or megalomanic at the other. Again, perhaps she's addressing the choir.

The part a little further on is Slightly troubling to me as well. It reminds me of the Pink Floyd song: "US Us us...and THEM THem them....." Smacks of elitism, doesn't it? Although no doubt well-intentioned. Seems to say that "us" are the only ones whose "paradigm" shift has enabled "us" to see real reality, not the pseudo-reality that can be measured, by them, the unenlightened..


As you know, many of "us" --Seekers and Finders, Initiates, Earth Angels, Light-Dark workers, shamans, ascensionists Sort of begs the question for a terminal patient, "why use all that fancy-shmancy medical equipment, medications, and treatment. My inner reality tells me that if I "perceive" myself to be healthy, then I will necessarily be so - as within, so without.

It's a wonderful thing to have hope, and faith at all times, most especially the darkest moments. But is it helpful to confuse hope or faith with reality?
