FBI falsely uses photo of Spanish Communist for terrorist profile

The United States government found itself obligated to apologize to the leader of the Spanish Communist Party because the FBI falsely used his image for a terrorist profile.

What's with the FBI? I thought we finally had some decent people running it; not the same neo-fascists under George II. This is Cold War mentality that is completely unwarranted. Gaspar Llamazares, the Communist Secretary General, is a good, hard working, law abiding man who deserves respect, not being falsely profiled as a terrorist!

I guess many Americans, including in the Obama administration, are still stuck in the past, thinking in Cold War terms:

Seems quite plausable that Bin Laden, mass murderer and former CIA asset, is long dead. We haven't seen a single photo or video that conclusively proves he's alive since prior to our invasion of Afghanistan, even though it would be a propaganda coup for him to thumb his nose at the US.

All we get are vague tape recordings that prove nothing and that are usually released at the most advantageous times for the US.
