Most people (including some liberal leaning followers of The Secret or LOA) would find Pat Robertson's response to the disaster in Haiti repulsive and completely flawed in logic and compassion. Yet The Secret places the blame on the Haitians as Mr. Robertson did with his statements about making deals with the devil. And although the circumstances differ, the outcomes and blame are placed on the victims. I find it highly ironic to find those of the evangelical right meshing perfectly with LOA followers on this delusional notion of the Haitians attracting this horror upon themselves, whether by means of the devil and his tricks, or by the vibes they emit...
