My sweet, loving 1 year old spayed female Bengal cat needs a loving home for 1-2 months, possibly more. I am leaving for a trip and the person I live with requires that she stay only in my room with access to the outdoors. i am afraid that with no loving attention she may run away in that time, as she is used to a lot of contact with me day and night. If you know anything about Bengal cats, you know what amazing creatures they are. Highly intelligent, they love to play with toys, play hide and seek, and are extremely responsive and loving with their owner ( almost the "dog of the cat world"). They are bred from a domestic cat and an Asian leopard cat, usually 5 or so generations back. So they retain some wild, though appealing characteristics.
The home she would need would be free of female cats, and ideally she could be the only cat. She rarely uses a litter box, and prefers the outdoors. she doesn't need someone home with her all day, but at least someone that comes home each night. Preferably a bit out of town, though she'll stay off the street if the back yard is open space.
I am leaving in a week, so it would need to happen soon. Of course i will pay for all her food and any incidental vet bills, and not hold you ultimately responsible. Perhaps you know an elderly person that would love a companion for a short time, or a child that would love an animal play-mate.
