So write about that, that you can't begin and what it feels like because you really want to write about such and such and just write about it all.

Here's my best advice. Get up every morning and write before you do anything. Just write. Don't edit, don't censor. Write for a set period of time that works for you, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 5 minutes, an hour. If you have trouble getting started put anything down on paper, including "blah blah blah." Describe your book even if the words seem clunky and wooden. Just write, only write, write, write, write.

Then do whatever the day requires of you.

At the end of each day, reread what you've written. Edit as you like. See if any themes or ideas emerge.

Repeat daily.

I know from experience that this works. At least for me.

These are you first words...include the difficulty in writing the book, in the book.

Start anywhere -- the middle of a chapter, the last chapter, anywhere at all. Thanks to word processing, you can always move things around. Just write.
