I volunteer for a local non-profit organization, McDonald Ranch (https://www.mcdonaldranch.org) who work with YOUTH and Animals.
We have been looking for some time to fill several important spots, most of which can be handled right from your own home and computer.
WE need EXPERIENCED VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS, who can also ASSIST the DIRECTOR in READING, REPLYING TO EMAILS, and ANSWER PHONES, take messages, etc. That part can easily be done from your own home.
However, if you would like to GET OUT ON-SITE a few hours here and there, there are plenty of things they need help with on the Ranch. All positions mentioned here can be accomplished by almost any male or female.
We really need people to help us understand and work with GOOGLE APPS, and in particular, GOOGLE VOICE.
Other clerical matters we need are Volunteers who can help OBTAIN GRANTS for us, do filing, and volunteers to write quarterly newsletters, desk top publishing, work with GOOGLE APPS, spread sheets, etc.
We only ask that you be prepared to donate at least 12 hours a month, More if you wish and can. And, experience in the tasks are definitely required.

This is a GOOD WAY for SENIORS who are no longer working but still want to keep up with the business world and meet people from all walks of life.
