I just recently moved to the west Sonoma County area. During the move, I had passed the Sequoia Drive In several times. As I am originally from about 40 miles SW of Boston, the sign on the side of the building that proclaimed they served "Boston's Best Clam Chowda" caught my eye. I finally made a stop there to test their claim and was quite satisfied with their chowder. I had stopped there one more time before discovering this week that it is 'Under New Management'! :(:
Not only that, former proprietor Bruce was a big Red Sox fan (you could tell the moment you entered) and sponsored Little League teams in Sebastopol.
