Hi, Waccsters. Today I sent a message to the Nobel Prize Committee, asking them to withdraw President Obama's Peace Prize, in light of his announcement at West Point yesterday.

Unfortunately, the relevant committee has a very strange understanding of peace. Other recipients include Jimmy Carter (in 2002) who began a program which Ronald Reagan inherited and expanded of support for the Contras against Nicaragua. Carter also betrayed the Palestinians with the accord reached at Camp David to advance peace in the Middle East--agreed by Egypt's Anwar Sadat and Israel's Menachem Begin without Palestinian participation. Sadat and Begin were jointly awarded the prize in 1978. Another honoree is Henry Kissinger (jointly awarded with Le Duc Tho in 1973), who participated in an administration that killed millions in Southeast Asia, largely through aerial campaigns. Theodore Roosevelt, famous for his association of war with both male and national virility, received the prize in 1906.
