I honestly think this term was pasted on the Movement due to those that make their living torturing (vivisection), enslaving (cattle/dairy industry) are so in cahoots with the powers that be..the pressure was on, so taking a term that denotes the taking of lives (which the AR movement never has done) and brings to mind 9-11, bombings of innocents and and like actions was put to use.
Now protestors are disallowed to protest? Where are our freedoms as citizens in this country??
Someone who decrys the horrific abuse is pointed out as somehow criminal and yet those who commit acts that make the human depictions of Hell seem very tame are accepted as part of the local community and pillars of society?
I for one am so sick of the "Happy Cows From California" and commercials depicting animals as being oh so eager to be on the plates of humans.
I for one, just see this as the sickness of our society as expanding with no end in sight.
