Available NOW for a group of up to 3 people (you provide the people) for $1650. 2 bedroom house w/ the living room is large enough to separate a private area in for a 3rd bedroom. Inhabitants would be responsible to keep the rooms filled (with approval).
This 70's style home (with a lot of history...), is about 1200 sq ft, has high beamed, gabled roof ceilings, all pine tongue and groove floors and ceiling, a very efficient wood stove, and forced air propane floor vent heating.
The bedrooms get lots of direct sunlight. one is 300 sq ft with a sleeping loft and 2 large closets, one is 120 sq ft with mostly glass walls.
Home has open kitchen, large living room, a large bathroom with a lot of character and a large shower, french paned, redwood, with lots of stained glass. It is a Home, and well suited for music and arts to flourish.
We are looking for easygoing, eco-friendly folks to make this a harmonious, mutually respectful, relatively low impact communal home, more of a retreat than a party scene.
Parking is limited to inhabitants only- no guest parking on the premises. It is located on acreage and on a quiet, rural street, within a community 'feel' of several more cottages. a vegetable garden (kitchencompost!) , a large forest and a creek.
Sorry, no on-site laundry, nor cats. , and pref. small cars... Public transportation every 2 hours, daytimes. Big hill between us and central marin, so not so ez to bike..
