Is anyone aware of or monitoring the amount of chemtrails over So Co lately? I’ve been observing and doing research on this topic after finding myself with several symptoms after their appearance in the sky. I would like to communicate with others and share information. I found one website which is dealing with this subject and encourages people all over the world to get involved and share information and take action. Thank you for posting the Wikipedia result. More people should take a course or two in meteorology and they'd know that variances in upper atmosphere conditions lend themselves to contrails that persist some days and disappear instantly on others. Maybe then they wouldn't be so gullible to the charlatans on the radio hawking their latest book or speaking engagement. ...

Since when is Wikipedia the authority in what is going on in the world? They have purposely censored information from groups that I belong to.

A Lousianna TV station did research on chemtrails and found high levels of barium in it (among other chemicals). They also reported that chemtrails were mentioned, by name, in the 2001 initial draft of the Space Preservation Act but the military denied it.(it's there in black and white).

Correspondents in those cities contacted Thomas saying there was heavy chemtrail activity. And air traffic controllers have privately expressed their concern, to the investigators, of public health problems because of the particulate matter that comes down from the chemtrails. This could be viruses, bacteris and fungi that live and breed in the upper atmosphere.

The US Air Force releases aluminum coated fiber glass, called CHAF, over CA. and other states. Right, like I said, lots of people making a living off the unfounded fear and ignorance of masses conditioned by television and talk radio. There are indeed some ill conceived government programs to study ways to modify weather but they don't involve spraying anything from airliners. At this point they are trying to discern just how much the weather patterns of the decades ahead will vary from the ones today based on changes in airflow from the equator to the poles. These studies involve weather satellites and balloons. Contrails spread or disappate according to the amount of humidity in the particular body of air they are injected into. It's not for me to try to change your beliefs... you are welcome to them.

I used to think as you do, but I have done some more research and am satisfied that these are actually persistent contrails. The result, as one of our astronauts has blogged about, is that they do change weather because there are so many more jets flying today then there were when we were kids. This astronaut, (one of the famous ones whose name escapes me at the moment,) had an amazing photo on his site that showed the earth just covered with these trails. it is a real problem, but most likely not a secret conspiracy. This doesn't make it a good thing. And I'm not saying there haven't been actual attempts to manipulate our weather in the past. We also know the military really did drop some gnarly stuff over SF in the 60s(?) that made some people get sick and at least in one documented case an older woman died from respiratory complications. Nonetheless, I think it is scary enough to contemplate the possibility that persistent contrails are causeing environmental changes without having to bring in the "C" word.
