every day young, healthy, sound horses are being euthanized. we are beyond capacity at well trained horses (a rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming/matching/selling facility for horses). one of our primary goals is to keep horses from Mexican Slaughter, a terror of unbelievable proportions. if any one knows of pasture space, for one or two horses (horses are always placed with other horses. they are herd animals, and do not do well alone.)
there are 3 healthy horses that are headed for in lake county that will be euthanized on Tuesday. Euthanasia is preferable to Mexican Slaughter. We get requests daily from horse owners who are making the difficult decision to put their horses up for adoption. If you know of available pasture, want to volunteer, have fencing supplies, have a video camera & camera skills we need your help now. please email [email protected], visit our website welltrainedhorses.com, or call 829.3600. thank you for any way you can help. we are a 501c.3 charity, and can provide tax deductions for pasture space, supplies, services and other needs. we are sponsoring a clinic tomorrow for volunteers and those interested in learning more about horses. to help, ask questions, or for additional information please email [email protected], visit our website: welltrainedhorses.com or call 829.3600. we are grateful for any help you might provide.
