This Hand Made Solar Water Heater is a fully functional self contained unit, utilizing the properties of the Parabolic Reflective Curve to focus the light of the sun onto the 52 gallon tank. It requires no electricity, or any additional tanks or pumps etc. It will sustain household water pressure. The tank and pipes inside the unit will not freeze. The pipes leading to and from the unit must be protected from freezing.
The unit is plug and play ready to go. Cold water in... Sunshine... Hot water out - plumb it right to a shower, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, or even into your house, as a supplement to your standard domestic water heater.
Simply divert the cold water running into your standard water heater, to come through this unit first, and your standard water heater will have little or no work to do. Your energy consumption will be reduced dramatically.
Also, hopefully you will find it attractive and show it off in your front yard! All of my feedback so far says it's beautiful (which is very gratifying, since I put a lot of energy into making it look good, from the beginning).
Understand that this is a one of a kind unit. I will never make another exactly like it. However, I will personally guarantee (in writing) the workmanship of the device for a period of three years from purchase. This means that if anything goes wrong within that time, I will come and fix it, ASAP.

In Brief: Given full sun, the unit will raise the temperature of the water in the tank from 68 deg F to 140 deg F in 5.5 hours. This is working temperature as it flows from the tank.
