Steve Jaxon's the MIX

Back in 1982, the Mix was one of the first groups in the Bay Area to achieve huge success, with a 9 piece band featuring hot covers of the best of Motown, R &B, and funk. Bands that followed include Pride and Joy and the Zazu Pitts Memorial Orchestra. The original Mix featured vocalists Gailene Grillo, Claire Victor and Tony Norman, with Steve Wolf on bass, Steve Jaxon on drums and vocals, and amazing guitarist Steve Kimock! Now Jaxon, Grillo, and Wolf are together again, plus the Mix now features one of the top guitarists in the North Bay, Randy Quan, and veteran horn and keyboard player, Ed Randol. The new “mix” of music features more variety than ever, and beautiful four-part harmonies. The Steve Jaxon Mix, in its new incarnation, is now shopping for booking representation.
